Last Friday I had the privilege of premiering my newest piano concerto with young and sparkling Nordic Harmony at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. I tell you, there is NO bigger feeling that playing your own music with a kick ass orchestra next to you!! You´ll see more to the orchestra and me together in the future :)

Found my self a nice mountain cottage (in Valdres, Norway) which I bought for my mother. Here I find inspiration to compose and just finished writing my newest piano concerto which I will be premiering this Friday with Nordic Harmony at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo.
And when not in the mountains getting inspired, I get a kick from the fjord in Oslo.... (Photo by Cathrine Dokken)

Performed in awesome Hong Kong last week in Kowloon! Relaxing before the concert....
And then after the concert I went "local"......
And THEN.....I found paradise in Sai Kung, just a 40 min drive from Kowloon.
Next up is Brussels !!

Bought my self a little beast of a car for SUP and surf. (Had to be NBA´s top car: KIA)
And now you see why I call it "the little beast"...
And yeah, bought a couple of them too...!! SUP&Champagne is ON! Book boards or SUP events NOW and experience Aksel´s "urban impressionism"!!

Thank´s to the magnificent Trond Hellstrøm I now go bananas every day at Café de Concert on a HEAVENLY Bechstein concert grand. I pretty much exclusively perform on Bechstein instruments from Hellstrøm Piano & Flygel AS in Norway if a grand piano needs to be rented at the concert venue.
My old basketball coach Pål Berg gave me my old jersey I played with when I was a teenager. MAN that made my day!!!!
